For most of his life, every hour of his day was devoted to WWE - the company he grew into a worldwide phenomenon, leaving very little time for him to have a life outside the business. However, there are still some things that fans should know about his life outside the WWE, from huge projects to little bits of interesting information.

10 Started The Worldwide Bodybuilding Federation

The World Bodybuilding Federation

Vince McMahon has had several business ventures, and one of those was the Worldwide Bodybuilding Federation, which was intended to involve sports entertainment within the bodybuilding world.

It didn’t go down too well overall, with people not really liking the over-the-top nature in which it was presented. Their one and only PPV was a complete flop too, with just 3000 buys, leading to the dissolution of the project.

Throughout the late 1990s and the 2000s, Tapout became the number one distributor for MMA merchandise and clothing on the planet. After a brief dip due to the death of their founder, Vince McMahon became the co-owner in 2015, relaunching the project and brand.

From there, Tapout has firmly been on the rise, though has not yet re-reached the same dizzying heights that it had done in the past.

Vince McMahon has a bizarre yet often child-like sense of humor, and perhaps one of the biggest examples of that is his love of pushing people into swimming pools, so much so that he would invite others over to his home only for the purpose of doing this.

There are countless examples of McMahon’s unique personality, and this is simply one of many stories and quirks to him.

Vince McMahon, despite achieving a lot of success in his later life, had a tough childhood. From living in poor areas to experiencing abuse at the hands of his step-father, McMahon had it very rough at times.

His father left just after he was born, subsequently not meeting his dad until the age of 12. Missing such a huge chunk of his childhood didn’t affect how much of an impact Vince McMahon Sr had on his son’s life though, as Vince McMahon Jr took on his father’s surname and followed in his footsteps in terms of his career.

1 Billionaire Lifestyle

It may come as no surprise that Vince McMahon has been in and out of the billionaire list on several occasions due to how much money his companies have made over the years. Although he doesn’t seem like a “conventional” billionaire on paper due to how much he puts into his work life, he does have many “rich person” tendencies, and he has several elements of his life which are very much of a “billionaire lifestyle”.

For instance, McMahon has multiple multi-million dollar houses, with a penthouse in New York, a mansion, and holiday homes. In addition, McMahon owns a yacht, much like many other billionaires, with his having the not-so-charming name of Sexy Bitch. Much like other billionaires, McMahon has a history of affairs, legal issues, and hush money controversy.
