Bayley is expected to be making her return to the ring at some point soon, which will provide a major boost to WWE's women's division. She is someone with a lot of experience, star power, and popularity. Because of that, she will likely be put straight to the top of the card upon her return.

Audiences are excited about seeing her in the ring again, especially since she was doing some of the best work of her career before being injured. With WWE boasting a lot of talent on the roster right now, there are plenty of great options for the company to take with Bayley's return. Some of which should be pursued, and others that would be best avoided for now.

10 Should Face: Liv Morgan

Liv Morgan Cropped

Since Bayley has been gone from WWE, Liv Morgan has truly stepped up in the women's division. She is now one of the brightest aspects of the show each week, and someone who has got a huge fanbase. She works well in big storylines and has certainly proven herself.

Getting the chance to work against Bayley would only take Liv's in-ring game to new heights, which is why the company should consider doing it. Their promo work would be brilliant, and inside the ring, they're two wrestlers who could tell some fantastic stories.

9 Shouldn't Face: Nikki A.S.H.

Nikki A.S.H. is an intriguing character, especially the current version that thinks she is good but is essentially a villain. However, that doesn't mean that she'd be a good first opponent for Bayley. The gimmick has started to run its course, and is no longer as popular as it was.

While Nikki is a good talent, this isn't a match that fans would be particularly interested in. She's not quite at the level to be a great first feud for Bayley at this stage in the game, unfortunately.

8 Should Face: Shayna Baszler

Bayley facing Shayna Baszler is a storyline that WWE hasn't truly explored, which is why it could be an exciting one. The two of them have vastly different styles and personalities, which could make for an interesting storyline. When Shayna is pushed as a serious heel, few can do it better.

She's incredibly convincing, and if Bayley comes back as a babyface, this would be a solid non-title feud to start building her back up. They are storytellers inside the ring, and that is something that would lead to some good technical bouts.

7 Shouldn't Face: Natalya

Natalya Royal Rumble Cropped

Natalya is a great in-ring talent, and she can have a fantastic match with anybody with the right chance. However, at this point in her career, she is mainly used further down the card, and because of that, it doesn't make sense for her to feud with Bayley on her return.

Natalya isn't one of the biggest stars in the division, and it would feel like a waste of Bayley's return for this to be her first rival. While seeing them work a match against each other would certainly be enjoyable, a full storyline isn't someone anyone is looking for.

6 Should Face: Rhea Ripley

Rhea Ripley Cropped

Rhea Ripley is somebody that Bayley has never competed against, and that in itself says why WWE should be booking this storyline immediately. It is a dream feud between two of the best wrestlers on the roster, and the fact that it is completely fresh makes it perfect for WWE.

The company is always looking for something new, and this could be just that. With both women being capable of playing a heel or babyface, there are a lot of options for the creative team to make this one work. Meanwhile, the in-ring product between them is guaranteed to be a hit.

5 Shouldn't Face: Bianca Belair

Bianca Belair wins the Elimination Chamber Cropped

Bianca Belair would be a solid option for Bayley to compete against, as she is one of the top stars in the company. However, this was the storyline that WWE did just before her injury. Because of that, this would feel like going backward to that exact moment.

The angle didn't get the chance to finish, so there is something still there for them to do. However, now doesn't feel like the right time for this storyline to return. Instead, WWE could wait on this and bring them back together again down the line.

4 Should Face: Ronda Rousey

Ronda Rousey promo Cropped

Ronda Rousey and Bayley have only ever had one singles match, and that took place on Raw, therefore this is a fresh feud for WWE to go with. It would be an exciting one as well, adding some real star power to work alongside Ronda in what would be a dream match for many fans.

People want to see Rousey compete against the best, and Bayley ticks that box. Either woman can take on the heel or babyface role, simply going with the dynamic at the time. While Bayley is more than talented enough to carry any of Ronda's inexperience, which would make this beneficial to both women.

3 Shouldn't Face: Doudrop

Doudrop in WWE

Doudrop is a good wrestler, but she is stuck working a basic gimmick that is tough to get over. Because of that, fans simply aren't interested enough in her work to be in this spot. Nobody is crying out for this match right now, even though it could be great.

If WWE was to switch up Doudrop's gimmick slightly, making it more gripping, then perhaps this would be an option. But for right now, it is extremely unlikely that this would be a storyline the company would consider for Bayley.

2 Should Face: Becky Lynch

Becky-Lynch-Raw Womens Champion

The one big storyline that is waiting for Bayley right now is with Becky Lynch. They have barely spent any time in the ring together, even though they're half of the Four Horsewomen, this isn't a storyline WWE has done. However, now is the perfect time to commit to this one.

Becky as the top heel in the business getting to work against a returning Bayley, who will no doubt have a huge ovation behind her would be perfect to see. They are huge stars, and putting them together is a main event-worthy situation.

1 Shouldn't Face: Sasha Banks

Sasha Banks WrestleMania 37

Sasha Banks is an amazing wrestler, and inside the ring, she and Bayley create magic together. They have one of the best women's rivalries of all time, and it has led to some groundbreaking matches. However, that doesn't mean that people want to see it straight away.

WWE has exhausted everything they can get out of this rivalry, bar a WrestleMania match. Therefore, if WWE does want to do it again, it would be smarter to wait until next year to commit to it.
