11-time WWE World Champion Edge's wrestling career is nothing short of extraordinary. Edge has had his fair share of the neck, Achilles, and pectoral muscle injuries throughout his career. However, when Edge has stayed healthy, he is an important asset to WWE. Edge was a tag team specialist with Christian and he won seven WWE Tag Team Championships with his real-life best friend. Moreover, Edge became a certified main eventer and has mixed it up with the very best in his business.

As a marquee star, Edge will rarely suffer losses which is a testament to his greatness. It's a shock when Edge loses to someone who's not on his level. It's no mean feat to get a victory over Edge, and those wrestlers who are not expected to beat Edge will be proud of that achievement.

10 Val Venis - Raw (1/10/00)

Val Venis European Champion Cropped

On the January 10, 2000 edition of Raw, Edge challenged Val Venis for the WWE European Championship. There was a backstory to this match as Edge was engaged to Val's sister Alannah in real life, which was going to make the pair, brothers-in-law.

Val was at the top of his game in the late 90s and for the majority of 2000, which is why he held the European Championship and the Intercontinental Title twice. They had a decent match, and Val retained his title with a Fisherman Suplex. In the final few years of his WWE career, Val became a jobber, which makes his victory over Edge in 2000 quite impressive.

9 Albert - SmackDown (7/5/01)

Albert IC Champion Cropped

Surprisingly, Albert beat Kane for the Intercontinental Championship. Albert's Intercontinental Title run was forgettable, and Edge was looking to become a two-time Intercontinental Champion, when he collided with Albert on the July 5, 2001, episode of SmackDown.

Albert overpowered Edge in the early stages, but Edge managed to battle back. Moreover, Edge made an error as he battled Albert in the corner, which allowed Albert to low blow Edge. The referee wasn't looking, and he executed the Baldo Bomb to retain the Intercontinental Championship over the reigning King of the Ring winner.

8 Charlie Haas - SmackDown (2/13/03)

Edge v Charlie Haas SmackDown February 13, 2003

In one of the final matches before Edge's year-long injury layoff, Edge collided with Team Angle's Charlie Haas on the February 13, 2003 edition of SmackDown. Haas was one-half of the WWE Tag Team Champions with Shelton Benjamin, and Haas was accompanied to the ring by Paul Heyman.

Haas was a decent in-ring performer but you'd expect Edge to beat Haas in one-on-one competition. Heyman's distraction proved to be a difference-maker as Edge speared Heyman off the apron, and Haas picked up a monumental victory with a roll-up.

7 Chris Kanyon - SmackDown (8/30/01)

Chris Kanyon WCW United States Champion & WWF Tag Team Champion

Edge was looking to become a double champion when he challenged Chris Kanyon for the WCW United States Championship on the August 30, 2001 episode of SmackDown. Edge was the reigning Intercontinental Champion, and he was in a commanding position in his championship match with the Alliance's Kanyon.

Kanyon is an excellent wrestler but during his WWE run, he didn't get much of a chance to shine. Nonetheless, Christian cost Edge dearly as he accidentally clocked Edge in the head with the US Championship. Kanyon took advantage, and he pinned Edge to remain as the WCW United States Champion.

6 Justin Gabriel - SmackDown (1/21/11)

Edge v Justin Gabriel SmackDown January 21, 2011 Cropped

On the January 21, 2011 edition of SmackDown, Edge was the reigning World Heavyweight Champion, and he had a non-title match with Justin Gabriel. It felt like a lumberjack match as the Corre was at ringside, and Edge's challenger for the World Heavyweight Championship at the Royal Rumble, Dolph Ziggler was undertaking commentary duties.

Edge had the upper hand but the numbers game proved to be too much. He managed to knock Wade Barrett and Heath Slater off the apron. However, Ezekiel Jackson clobbered Edge with a thunderous clothesline. Gabriel crawled across Edge to earn one of the biggest wins in his career.

5 Gangrel - SmackDown (1/20/00)

Gangrel Cropped

Edge and Gangrel used to be close when they were members of the Brood. They were no longer on the same page, and they locked horns on an episode of SmackDown in January 2000. Gangrel didn't come to ringside alone as Luna was in his corner.

Edge hauled himself over the top rope onto Gangrel. Luna approached Edge and whispered in his ear. Edge was distracted and the rest of the women who were going to be involved in the swimsuit contest at the Royal Rumble took Edge's attention away from the match. Mae Young pulled Edge off the apron, and she kissed him with Gangrel prevailing albeit by count-out.

4 Heath Slater - Raw (8/16/10)

The Nexus was looking to put things right after losing to Team WWE at SummerSlam 2010. Edge found himself facing off with Heath Slater on an episode of Raw. Slater applied submission holds on Edge but the Rated-R Superstar rallied back and took Slater down with some fast attacks and he executed the Edge-o-Matic.

The action spilled onto the outside, and Edge attempted to spear Slater on the steel steps. Slater moved out of harm's way and he rolled back into the ring with Edge failing to make it back into the ring on time with Slater triumphant by count-out.

3 Hugh Morrus - Raw (8/27/01)

Bill Demott WCW

Edge defended the Intercontinental Championship against Hugh Morrus. Morrus was a laughing stock in the Alliance, and it was a foregone conclusion for many that Edge would beat Morrus. Edge had the speed advantage and he scored a near fall with the Edge-o-Matic.

Christian was on the apron and he hooked Morrus off it. Edge planted Morrus with the Edgecution, but Edge was disqualified by referee Teddy Long because of Christian's outside interference. Despite the loss to Morrus, Edge retained the Intercontinental Championship.

2 David Otunga - SmackDown (11/12/10)

Edge v David Otunga SmackDown November 12, 2010 Cropped

There was a huge tremendous amount of pressure on David Otunga's shoulders as he would be booted out of Nexus if he failed to beat Edge in a lumberjack match. Otunga wasn't alone as his stablemates Justin Gabriel, Heath Slater, Michael McGillicutty, and Husky Harris gave him moral support. For sure, Nexus were outnumbered by the SmackDown roster.

The Rated-R Superstar dominated the bout although Otunga had some offense and a refusal to lose. Chaos ensued, and the reigning World Heavyweight Champion Kane chokeslammed Edge, which allowed Otunga's place in the Nexus to remain intact.

1 Tiger Ali Singh - Capital Carnage 1998

Edge v Tiger Ali Singh Capital Carnage 1998 Cropped

Edge suffered one of the most embarrassing defeats in his career at the hands of Tiger Ali Singh. The pair collided in a short match across the pond at Capital Carnage in December 1998. Edge descended through the crowd before he launched an assault on Tiger.

The match was dreadful, and Tiger wasn't on Edge's level, even at this early stage of Edge's WWE run. Ultimately, Edge missed the missile dropkick, and Tiger had to cheat by putting his feet on the ropes for leverage to earn a win over Edge.
