When thinking back about some of the most iconic WrestleMania moments, some of WWE's biggest stars come to mind. Whether it is Hulk Hogan slamming Andre the Giant, Shawn Michaels winning his first WWE Championship, or "Stone Cold" Steve Austin returning to the ring after almost twenty years, some moments can truly live on forever. However, some wrestlers are not as lucky and never get to experience the wonder of a WrestleMania moment.

While not every wrestler has the opportunity to reach main event level status, other wrestlers were able to achieve their shining moments from an undercard position. Despite this, there are still many surprising faces that never got to experience what having a WrestleMania moment feels like. Considering how popular some wrestlers have been and never got one, it is often a disappointing realization.

The majority of wrestlers that compete in a WWE ring want to achieve multiple things and that is to become a World Champion and to headline WrestleMania. Not every wrestler is fortunate to achieve those things, but competing at WrestleMania is a big deal. WrestleMania can make or break for some wrestlers as they want to have a performance of a lifetime but it doesn't always pan out that way. Some wrestlers want to have an iconic WrestleMania moment that is spoken about in years to come. Unfortunately, injuries and missing out on WrestleMania have caused some wrestlers to never have a WrestleMania moment. Some competitors may have competed at WrestleMania, but some of their matches are often lost in the shuffle because of their counterparts, who tore the house down.

13 Ivory

Ivory v Chyna WrestleMania 17 Cropped

Three-time WWE Women's Champion Ivory only competed once at WrestleMania throughout her illustrious career and despite entering WrestleMania 17 as the reigning Women's Champion, it wasn't a fond memory for Ivory. She defended her title against the Ninth Wonder of the World, Chyna.

Ivory momentarily got the upper hand in the early stages when she nailed Chyna with the Women's Championship in the back and got in a few licks. That's as good as it got for the future WWE Hall of Famer as Chyna squashed her in a bout that lasted less than three minutes. Nevertheless, Ivory never competed at WrestleMania again and didn't have a WrestleMania moment.

12 Booker T

MITB Ladder Match WrestleMania 23 Cropped

Six-time World Champion Booker T has a shocking WrestleMania record for a man of his caliber. He has never won a singles match at WrestleMania with his solitary victory coming at WrestleMania 20 alongside Rob Van Dam in a successful World Tag Team Championship title defense, and RVD picked up the pinfall victory for their team.

Booker lost to Edge in his first WrestleMania outing at WrestleMania 18, and the following year he should have beaten Triple H for the World Heavyweight Championship but that failed to materialize. Booker and his wife Sharmell were humiliated by The Boogeyman at WrestleMania 22, and his performance in the Money in the Bank ladder match at WrestleMania 23 was forgettable. Booker's final WrestleMania outing was in a multi-man match at WrestleMania 28 as he represented Team Teddy but they lost to Team Johnny.

11 Big E

Big E WrestleMania 29 Cropped

Surprisingly, former WWE Champion Big E has never won at WrestleMania. He's 0-5 at WrestleMania and his latest WrestleMania outing was at WrestleMania 37 when he defended the Intercontinental Championship against Apollo Crews, and he lost the title to him.

Big E alongside his New Day stablemates may have hosted WrestleMania 33 and they announced the Hardy Boyz's return to WWE. Big E hasn't had a standout WrestleMania moment unlike Kofi Kingston who had his iconic moment when he beat Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 35

10 Brian Pillman

Brian Pillman & Mr McMahon Cropped

Brian Pillman's legacy as an unhinged loose cannon is well remembered by wrestling fans, and his influence on wrestling today helped pave the way for many wrestlers who make unpredictability their game. However, Pillman's legacy did not include many iconic in-ring moments during his WWE stint.

After being signed in 1997, Pillman's body was already working against him and he was unable to perform in the ring at his previous level. In the five months, he was with the company, Pillman did not pass through WrestleMania season and tragically passed away before he would have reached his first.

9 Lita

LIta WrestleMania 32

Lita is undoubtedly considered one of the pioneering women that helped put the focus on in-ring action instead of the looks of the performers. While her legacy has evolved into a Hall of Fame career, her WrestleMania legacy is much emptier.

With only one Women's Championship loss at WrestleMania 18 under her belt, Lita did not wrestle any other time on the grandest stage of them all. Apart from being a small fixture in TLC 2 and the Edge vs Mick Foley street fight, she was very absent from WrestleMania in her career.

Lita will be competing in just her second WrestleMania match at WrestleMania 39 which will be her first WrestleMania match in 21 years. She is one-half of the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions alongside Becky Lynch and they will team up with Trish Stratus to take on Damage CTRL's Bayley, Dakota Kai, and Iyo Sky in a six-woman tag team match.

8 Junkyard Dog

Junkyard Dog

As one of the biggest stars from the southern United States, Junkyard Dog was very popular as a regional performer and moved his way onto WWE television during the wrestling boom of 1984. His popularity made him an important mid-card wrestler for the company, but his WrestleMania accomplishments were very few.

Unfortunately, JYD never picked up a win at WrestleMania and was even humiliated during his appearances. As an original WrestleMania performer, he challenged Greg Valentine for the Intercontinental Championship in a losing effort and was forced to bow to King Harley Race during their feud.

7 Jeff Jarrett

Jeff Jarrett v Razor Ramon WrestleMania 11 Cropped

Many wrestling fans may forget that through Jeff Jarrett's several stints in WWE, he had a very accomplished career. At one point, Jarrett held the Intercontinental Championship more times than any other wrestler and was a solid fixture on the card.

While he forged the rest of his career in WCW and Impact Wrestling, there is no denying Jarrett's WWE accomplishments. However, none of those made him a big fixture at WrestleMania. With two appearances as a title holder, both matches were largely forgettable.

6 Gail Kim

WM 26

Much has been written about Gail Kim's feelings about her time in WWE and how she felt undervalued as a performer. If someone was to look at her WrestleMania appearances alone, they would not figure her to be among one of the best female wrestlers of her generation.

Unfortunately, her two WrestleMania appearances were very forgettable as she was only involved in a multi-woman tag team match and the ill-fated Miss WrestleMania Battle Royal. Had Kim been given more of a WrestleMania spotlight, it may have given her the opportunity she needed to truly break out in WWE.

5 Scott Steiner

Scott Steiner Push-Up

Despite being one of the most accomplished tag team and singles wrestlers of his generation from his NWA and WCW days, Scott Steiner's WWE career was very limited. With only a single WrestleMania appearance, it is easy to forget that he was with the company for multiple years.

With only a short tag team match alongside his brother Rick at WrestleMania 9, he never appeared again in either a singles or tag team capacity. Considering that Steiner's final run as a main eventer took place during WrestleMania 19's season but he was excluded from the show proves just how poorly that run was going.

4 Lance Storm

Lance Storm & Chief Morley World Tag Team Champions Cropped

Lance Storm is considered to be one of the best wrestlers from a technical standpoint by his peers, but he struggled to gain any traction during his WWE stint. Despite coming with plenty of accolades from WCW when he joined the roster in 2001, he never received a fair shot.

RELATED: 10 Things Fans Should Know About Lance Storm

Through Storm's four-year stint in WWE, he never appeared on a WrestleMania card. Despite a proven track record of being able to put on great matches with anyone he was put in the ring with, he was never given the opportunity, even when he was in contention for championships.

3 Dolph Ziggler

Dolph Ziggler WrestleMania 29 Cropped

As someone who is widely considered to be one of WWE's most under-utilized performers, Dolph Ziggler has consistently struggled to gain traction in WWE. Despite having eleven WrestleMania appearances, it is difficult to pinpoint any of Ziggler's moments at any of the events.

Many of Ziggler's accolades have come on either different shows or even the night after WrestleMania, but never on the show itself. With his best days in the ring behind him, it is looking less and less likely that Ziggler may ever get the moment that so many fans feel he deserves.

2 William Regal

Regal v RVD

As someone who is now getting the adulation he deserves for his contributions to wrestling, William Regal deserved much more from his WrestleMania appearances. Despite being a fixture in WWE for many years, Regal only appeared at WrestleMania twice and lost both times.

While Regal was always able to deliver in the ring as a performer and was given opportunities to succeed, they never aligned with WrestleMania season. However, anytime he was given the opportunity he was always able to excel and would have only benefited from a WrestleMania moment.

1 The Hurricane

Hurricane

Despite having a silly gimmick, there is no denying just how popular that Greg "Hurricane" Helms was during his WWE career. With a gimmick that he was very connected to, The Hurricane flew into the hearts of fans and soared higher than anyone thought was possible.

As a former Tag Team and Cruiserweight Champion, Helms was a trusted member of the roster. However, he never made a single WrestleMania appearance, despite being a champion around the period of the show. Considering how undervalued cruiserweight performers have been in WWE, it is a shame he never got the chance.
