If anyone is able to cheat death and decide when he would like to leave this mortal coil, it would be Vince McMahon. For years, it was just a known fact that one day, when the Chairman does decide to lay in a pine box somewhere that his son and daughter would take up the reins and continue the WWE’s legacy. But along the way, Stephanie broke the cardinal rule and fell in love with one of her dad’s employees err I mean independent contractors. Thankfully for Triple H, he was already on the inner circle and Vince liked him enough to eventually let their love fester into a marriage.

Nearly twenty years and three kids later, it has become apparent that if control of the company will be left to anyone, it will Mr. and Mrs. Game. The Billion Dollar Princess and the Hall Of Fame degenerate have both already done so much for the company in such a short time, too. If for some reason the WWE ever ends up out of McMahon family ownership, the new bosses would do well to continue letting heirs apparent steer the ship.

Vince’s Original Vision Has Been Reached

Decades ago, Vince and Linda McMahon purchased the WWE from Vincent J. McMahon and a consortium that included Gorilla Monsoon and Arnold Skaaland. His initial concept of taking the WWE and the wrestling industry out of smoke-filled arenas and into brightly lit domes took nearly 15 years to come to full fruition (meaning that there is no chance that they’ll ever head back to smaller venues). By the time WCW was out of business, the company went public, insuring its financial future for generations to come. Certainly a success story like McMahon’s is always altering his or her initial goals to create new ones. Which is why Vince tries to branch out creatively from time to time. Rest assured, before he retires or expires he will continue to be at the forefront of whatever the WWE is doing.

"Philanthropy Is The Future Of Marketing" - Stephanie McMahon

Triple H And Stephanie Embrace On The Ramp Cropped

The WWE has always been an extremely charitable organization. Hulk Hogan for a long time held the record for visiting Make-A-Wish children. That record was only surpassed by John Cena. But under the care of Stephanie McMahon, the company’s charitable footprint has only grown in the past decade or so. She has taken dad’s charitable visions and has only grown them. She once got raked across the coals for her “philanthropy is the future of marketing,” because critics thought she wasn’t being genuine.

But she’s not wrong, and thanks to the company a charity like Connor’s Cure exists, raising 3.5 million for pediatric cancer research. Titus O’Neil also leads the way for his hometown, the Special Olympics. Whoever wants to be negative about WWE using their influence to help big charities (and yes rebrand their history a little in the process) needs to pull their head out of Rikishi’s ass. Good causes are good causes, and the heiress has helped to head that initiative up.

The Roster’s Future

Triple H saw a huge need when he asked his father-in-law for the responsibility to head up WWE developmental. The Chairman had long coveted humongous, athletic men and centerfold gorgeous women that could all turn heads in airports. Their in-ring ability was damned. Not only did The Game take NXT from developmental product to a viable third brand, he has set forth on his own vision to shape the future of the business.

At the moment, the WWE PC is in Orlando and a second one is in Enfield, England. NXT UK was just the start of the expansion - India, China, and possibly Japan are next (if only that New Japan partnership goes through). But the vision is much more than just WWE stamped brick and mortar around the world. The Cerebral Assassin has assembled a team of some of the best workers the business has ever seen to be his trainers and coaches, as well as guest trainers from all over the business to come in and talk to each new class.

Triple H is such a mark for the business’ history that he also spearheaded the WWE warehouse and archivist Ben Brown working tirelessly to recover items from wrestling’s and WWE history in order to not only preserve them but hopefully one day have a physical Hall Of Fame like any other sports or entertainment entity. Hence the recent A&E show that led to the recovery of some big-ticket items WWE lore.
