Weapons have been a part of the wrestling business since its early days and have been used mostly by the heels to gain the upper hand over their babyface opponents during a match. Wrestlers usually grab a weapon from the bottom of the ring or at ringside, while cunning ones usually smuggle it in their attire to use it on their opponent while the referee is distracted.
