WWE writes a lot of content regularly with so many shows that take place weekly. Because of that, not everything that the company does ends up being a hit, with plenty of bad storylines taking place every year, many of which fans want to forget about.

While the likes of Roman Reigns and Baron Corbin's feud over dog food or DX's rivalry with Spirit Squad were just poor, some bad storylines end up being entertaining. Whether it's because the athletes involved can pull it off or that certain segments just click, some of the bad storylines have become true guilty pleasures.

10 R-Truth & Drake Maverick's 24/7 Title Adventures

The 24/7 Championship brings a lot of comedic moments, however, the storylines that WWE puts in place for the title are always rather goofy. That was certainly the case between R-Truth and Drake Maverick when they had multiple weeks of segments together.

From putting up wanted posters to ambushing Drake's actual wedding day, they put a lot of effort into making this entertaining. While the story itself was very poor, because they both committed to it, things became entertaining in the end.

9 The Sreet Profits Compete With The Viking Raiders

Rivalries built around tag teams actually being friends are rare to see, but that was the case with The Street Profits and The Viking Raiders. Each week they'd compete in a different game, from bowling and mini-golf to ax throwing, and it was certainly an odd situation.

However, the segments were always quite fun and fans did look forward to them each week. Even their eventual cinematic match which featured a monster proved to be entertaining to people, although fans wouldn't be shouting about it from the rooftops.

8 Embrace The Hate

The embrace the hate storyline is one that had a lot of potential as it featured three top stars at the time. However, it ended up serving as a car crash for Zack Ryder's momentum, while it didn't really help Kane appear like a dominant monster either.

However, this did become a guilty pleasure for many fans. From seeing Kane push out from underneath the ring to Ryder being launched off the stage in his wheelchair, there were plenty of entertaining moments here.

7 NXT's Game Show Era

This was one huge storyline and it is one that really wasn't good. Seeing talented wrestlers compete by running around carrying kegs or doing different tasks was strange, but it's something that worked well.

Elements of it did prove to be funny and the sheer ridiculousness of the entire show helped to make it a true guilty pleasure for a lot of people, while it also helped create some genuine stars.

6 Michael Cole's Heel Run

The heel run of Michael Cole was not a great storyline. Seeing him with his protective box or in his orange singlet was something that just annoyed fans. WWE pushed it too much, which made it a poor storyline in the end, yet there were elements of it that did work.

Cole was supposed to frustrate people, and that is what made things a guilty pleasure. His arrogance was hilarious at times, and seeing him get his comeuppance did resolve things nicely.

5 Otis Falls In Love With Mandy Rose

Otis's journey into romance with Mandy Rose started as a comedic bit involving some ham. It wasn't a gripping storyline but fans absolutely jumped on it and got behind the angle, which then enhanced everything.

The work of everybody involved here was superb and while not everything WWE did was perfect, the efforts of Otis and Mandy in particular helped to make this a true guilty pleasure for most

4 Battle For Dominik's Custody

The battle for Dominik Mysterio's custody was not a good storyline and was something that no fans could truly buy into. Savvy fans knew he was Rey's son and putting the storyline into the world was never going to work.

However, while it was not good, the fact that it involved wrestlers as good as Rey and Eddie Guerrero led to it being fantastic. Their in-ring work was brilliant and that allowed audiences to buy into what they were doing and enjoy it.

3 Lana & Bobby Lashley Fall In Love

Lana was involved in a few romantic storylines throughout her career, and none of them were very good. However, her work with Bobby Lashley did become a guilty pleasure for fans, with the YouTube views being very high for their segments.

They were given main event spots for a reason because audiences ended up buying into the storyline as it involved so many different people which helped to make it so entertaining.

2 Bella Twins Battle Each Other

Nikki and Brie Bella were always better together as fans knew they were incredibly close behind the scenes. However, their feud against each other wasn't a great one, particularly because the promos between them were so poor.

However, there was something in the over-the-top nature of the entire rivalry that resonated with people and actually made this entertaining in the end.

1 Vince's Illegitimate Son

WWE clearly had much bigger plans for Vince McMahon's illegitimate child storyline, but when those got changed the company went with Hornswoggle. It created a poor storyline that went in lots of different directions, yet it was entertaining at the same time.

It was all turned to embarrass Vince, which is something fans always find funny. The resulting matches between JBL and Finlay were physical enough to make something positive from it.
