Some stand out mostly for their microphone abilities while others stand out for their in-ring skills. That said, several of those women are specialists in selling, maneuvers, high-flying moves, submissions, and so on. When it comes to in-ring performances, these 10 women are the best on the WWE roster.Updated on November 17th, 2021 by Tevon King: Women's wrestling has drastically improved over the last six years with the introduction of the women's revolution in WWE in the summer of 2015. Gone are the days with women being used for eye candy, and participating in degrading matches such as Bra and Panties matches, and Lingerie pillow fights. Women in WWE have broken down barriers by headlining WrestleMania, Royal Rumble, Survivor Series, among other pay-per-views which seemed laughable a decade ago. Nevertheless, the athleticism has been tremendous, and when women are used in meaningful storylines it garners interest from wrestling fans. Fans who attend events used to treat women's matches as the "toilet break" because they lacked interest in their matches. With the recent WWE draft completed, there will be some fresh feuds and new matches for fans to sink their teeth into with women's wrestling currently in a good space with new stars emerging, and veterans continuing to cement their legacies as all-time greats.

13 Liv Morgan

Liv Morgan v Carmella Extreme Rules 2021 Cropped

Liv Morgan is one of the most underrated wrestlers in WWE, as she is very talented, but doesn't get opportunities. She could be successful as a singles star, but instead, she has been under the shadow of Ruby Riott since 2017.

Morgan has athleticism and is very agile, she is always focused and can put on good shows. At 27-years-old, it's still not too late for WWE to let Liv Morgan make herself a career.

12 Carmella

Carmella Raw November 8, 2021 Cropped

Maybe WWE ruined her push and her SmackDown Women's Championship run, but still, Carmella is a solid performer. However, she can't carry a match alone, she needs to be in front of another talented woman in order to deliver an entertaining match.

As proof of this, there is Carmella's match against Sasha Banks at Tables, Ladders & Chairs 2020, or the Triple Threat match against Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch at SummerSlam 2018. Carmella has an interesting arsenal of moves and her Code Of Silence is excellent.

11 Shayna Baszler

Shayna Baszler v Naomi SmackDown November 5, 2021 Cropped

Former two-time NXT Women's Champion, Shayna Baszler, has proved that her in-ring skills posed a real threat to the entire women's division. However, since being on the main roster Baszler has not received a proper solo push.

Her Women's Tag Team Championship run with Nia Jax has been good, but Shayna deserves more than that. Shayna Baszler is one of the best female submission wrestlers in WWE history, hands down. Her Kirifuda Clutch is truly devastating, when she captures someone, the end is near.

10 * Naomi

Naomi SmackDown Women's Champion Cropped

One of the most athletically gifted women's wrestlers on the roster is Naomi. Naomi has come leaps and bounds from her days as a Funkadactyl, and she posed a serious threat to the reigning Women's Champions at the time.

Naomi is a two-time SmackDown Women's Champion, and she has so much more to give. Her Rear View finishing maneuver has served her well but she has some submission moves in her repertoire that she can pull out now and then. Naomi is too good to finish her career on two SmackDown Women's Championship reigns, and staying injury-free is a key factor for Naomi to have more success.

9 * Nikki A.S.H.

Nikki ASH Raw Women's Champion Cropped

It felt like WWE was going to miss the boat with Nikki A.S.H. but she is finally getting the chance to fulfill her potential. Before her transition into Nikki A.S.H., she was known as Nikki Cross. However, her resume is looking good as she has won two WWE Women's Tag Team Championships with Alexa Bliss. In her Nikki A.S.H. character, she won the Money in the Bank ladder match and she captured the Raw Women's Championship from Charlotte Flair.

She's a record-breaker as she is the first woman to win the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship three times which she currently holds with former rival Rhea Ripley. Her in-ring skills are exceptional, and hailing from Scotland, she has stayed true to herself by incorporating her European style in her matches.

8 Rhea Ripley

Rhea Ripley showing her skills against Charlotte And Asuka

Rhea Ripley is one of the Superstars with the most potential in the world. She is 25-years-old and already won the RAW Women's Title, so apparently, she is destined for greatness. Ripley's in-ring skills are great, but she can still improve a lot more and capitalize on her powerhouse wrestling style.

The Nightmare has put on several clinics throughout her young career, one of her best performances was in that Last Woman Standing match against Raquel Gonzalez on the January 6, 2021 episode of NXT.

7 * Natalya

Natalya Smackdown Women's Champion Cropped

Coming from one of the most-established wrestling family dynasties in WWE history, there are no surprises that Natalya is one of the greatest technical female wrestlers on the roster. Unfortunately, Natalya hasn't always been presented the way she should have, as she is right up there as one of the best in-ring female wrestlers on the roster.

Natalya has won the Divas Championship, SmackDown Women's Championship, and most recently, she held the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship with Tamina. Natalya doesn't get the credit she deserves for the career she has carved out for herself, but her debilitating Sharpshooter, and skill sets, show how talented she is.

6 Bayley

Bayley v Sasha Banks Hell In A Cell 2020 Cropped

Bayley is an extremely talented wrestler; she is fantastic on the mic and is very good in the ring as well. Bayley is not the most agile or athletic and she doesn't have such a varied arsenal of moves either, but she has excellent technique. The Bayley-To-Belly is a tremendous finisher and her Diving Elbow Drop is lethal.

Obviously, Bayley's best matches are against Sasha Banks. Their Hell In A Cell match is mind-blowing and she has a history of incredible matches in NXT.

5 Asuka

Bayley v Asuka NXT TakeOver Dallas Cropped

It's no secret to anyone that Asuka is not at her best at cutting promos, so she has to try harder than anyone else in the ring. Indeed, Asuka is one of the best when it comes to in-ring skills. She always knows what to do and when to do it, that's why it's hard to remember any botch in her career.

The Empress Of Tomorrow has a wide variety of moves from submission holds, high flying attacks and devastating strikes. Her stock may have fallen in recent years since debuting on the main roster but we will always have her run of dominance in NXT to remember.

4 Bianca Belair

Bianca Belair has become a fan favorite in a few months, and it’s no wonder since she is very charismatic and everyone loves to see her matches. The EST has extraordinary athleticism and she is one of the strongest women in WWE history, which makes her a very complete wrestler, an all-rounder.

Bianca’s performances are getting better and better, she was terrific at the 2021 Royal Rumble match and she put on a clinic at WrestleMania 37. Undoubtedly, Bianca Belair is one of the best female wrestlers in the world today.

3 Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch v Bianca Belair Raw November 1, 2021 Cropped

Becky Lynch is the only woman in history to become a top face in WWE. That's thanks to her unique character, her charisma, her promos, and her in-ring skills. The Man is agile, fast, and very cunning, plus she has a great move set. Becky is a specialist in leg drops, suplexes, and her Dis-Arm-Her is iconic.

Becky has delivered some of the best women's matches in WWE history. For example, her Last Woman Standing match against Charlotte Flair is gold.

2 Charlotte Flair

Charlotte Flair v Rhea Ripley Hell in a Cell 2021 Cropped

Certainly, Charlotte Flair inherited her father's talent. Perhaps she is not the most charismatic woman, but in terms of in-ring skills, The Queen is the complete package.

Charlotte can perform submission moves, high-flying moves, she can hit chops and she can deliver both technical and hard-hitting matches. Charlotte’s Natural Selection is amazing and her Figure-Eight Leglock is terrific as well.

In short, Charlotte is one of a kind, and she deserves to be the woman with the most titles in WWE history.

1 Sasha Banks

Sasha Banks Bayley Hell In A Cell

Sasha Banks has the knack of making all her opponents look good, something very few can do. Banks is a true expert at selling. On top of that, The Boss has an exquisite technique and isn't afraid to put her body on the line to entertain the fans, which is admirable.

The Bank Statement is one of the best submission moves out there. She capitalizes on her flexibility to do amazing spots and also tends to perform frog splashes from time to time. At only 29-years-old, Sasha Banks is already considered one of the best female performers of all time.
