In 1990, Undertaker made his memorable debut at Survivor Series 1990 and he went on to have a sublime career in WWE that spanned over 30 years. However, in 1997, Undertaker began a rivalry with Kane which became an iconic feud that still gets spoken about to this present day.

Their careers were intertwined and they would go on to have feuds with other wrestlers but one way or another they would find themselves feuding once more. Fans remember Kane's debut at Badd Blood: In Your House when he infamously ripped off the door inside the first Hell in a Cell match, when Undertaker faced off with Shawn Michaels. They remember their two WrestleMania encounters but there is still some things that fans fail to remember.

10 Inferno Match On Raw Was Undertaker's First Match Back In Two Months

Undertaker v Kane Raw 1999

The Undertaker battled with Stone Cold Steve Austin at Rock Bottom: In Your House in the second Buried Alive match. However, Undertaker was closing in on a victory but Kane interfered and helped Austin to prevail, who secured his spot in the 1999 Royal Rumble match.

Undertaker was off-screen for one month but he returned on the January 11, 1999 edition of Raw with his Ministry of Darkness in full swing. Nonetheless, Taker had niggling injuries and he barely wrestled but he returned to action on the February 22nd episode of Raw in an Inferno match with Kane. The Big Red Machine represented The Corporation, and it was a decent encounter with Undertaker getting the better of Kane once again.

Kane Royal Rumble 1998

Shawn Michaels defended the WWE Championship against The Undertaker in a casket match at Royal Rumble 1998. The Heartbreak Kid was out of his comfort zone with Undertaker determined to recapture the WWE Title.

This match is best remembered for Michaels sustaining a career-threatening back injury but it was still an instant classic. However, Undertaker was outnumbered and Kane came down to ringside to clean out the house. Some fans will forget this as Kane turned on Undertaker and assisted Michaels to retain the title before Kane and Paul Bearer carried out their devious plans by setting the casket on fire.

8 They Squared Off In Four Singles Matches On Pay-Per-View In 1998

Undertaker v Kane Survivor Series 1998

Undertaker and Kane finally squared off at WrestleMania XIV, and it took three Tombstone Piledrivers from The Demon of Death Valley to keep Kane down. It was a refreshing match, and their rematch at Unforgiven: In Your House in an Inferno match was another exceptional encounter.

Unfortunately, by the time 1998 ended, fans became sick and tired of Undertaker and Kane matches as they become stale, slow, and methodical affairs. In total they faced off four times on pay-per-view in 1998 with the match going to a No Contest at Judgment: In Your House, and Undertaker victorious at Survivor Series.

That all changed in 2010 with the pendulum swinging in Kane's favor. They collided in three successive World Heavyweight Title matches at Night of Champions, Hell in a Cell, and at Bragging Rights with Kane prevailing in all three to remain as World Heavyweight Champion. Paul Bearer was etched in the feud once more as he turned on Undertaker at Hell in a Cell to side with his son.

6 Undertaker Reunited With Paul Bearer At Judgment Day: In Your House

Undertaker v Kane Judgment Day 1998

The main focus heading into Judgment Day: In Your House was The Undertaker colliding with Kane for the vacant WWE Championship and Stone Cold Steve Austin would be fired if he failed to crown a new WWE Champion. Kane and Undertaker's match was one of the worst matches to close out a pay-per-view in 1998.

Nonetheless, Paul Bearer made his way down to ringside with a steel chair in tow, and he gestured to Kane to let him hit Undertaker. It was a ruse as Bearer nailed Kane in the back with a steel chair and Undertaker clocked Kane with it. It signaled Undertaker and Bearer reuniting for the first time in two years, and Undertaker fully turned heel for the first time since 1992.

5 Feuding Over The Tag Team Titles In 1999

SummerSlam 1999

Kane is one of the most prolific Tag Team Champions in WWE history with an astonishing 12 Tag Team title reigns to his name. However, in 1999 he formed an unlikely but successful partnership with X-Pac which saw them become two-time Tag Team Champions. Moreover, Kane and Undertaker were at loggerheads once more but over the Tag Team Titles.

The Phenom took Big Show under his wing, and they quickly became Tag Team Champions when they dethroned X-Pac and Kane at SummerSlam. This definitely gets overlooked in Kane and Undertaker's feud as fans generally remember their feuds in one-on-one action.

This was basically a brawl as they dismantled the casket with the match having no definitive winner. Undertaker and Kane's matches were special but they became tedious with the number of times they would face off.

3 Their Match At SummerSlam 2000

Undertaker v Kane SummerSlam 2000

In 2000 both Kane and The Undertaker returned to in-ring competition after their respective injury problems. Undertaker ditched his Ministry of Darkness character and he became The American Badass. Undertaker was a face once more and it seemed as though that Undertaker and Kane's differences were settled once and for all.

Kane had different ideas as he turned heel, and he delivered a thunderous Chokeslam to Undertaker through the ring. They collided at SummerSlam in an average encounter but Undertaker got the last laugh as he removed his brother's mask with Kane retreating to the back.

2 Reunited Briefly The Summer Of 1999

Kane and Undertaker 1999

After The Corporate Ministry disintegrated at Fully Loaded 1999, The Undertaker formed a brief alliance with Kane. The brothers took out Big Show and fans salivated at the prospect of seeing Kane and Undertaker finally being together.

Ultimately that failed to materialize as Kane was in a partnership with X-Pac, and Kane caught Undertaker assaulting X-Pac on the titantron. That brought an end to their brief reunion with The Big Red Machine wanting nothing to do with his brother.

At Survivor Series 1998, The Undertaker was hellbent on capturing his third WWE Championship. Undertaker overcame his brother Kane in the quarterfinals with some assistance from Paul Bearer as he held Kane's foot to stop him from kicking out of Undertaker's Tombstone Piledriver.

In the final four, Undertaker had a mouthwatering clash with The Rock with the winner going on to face Mankind in the final for the vacant WWE Championship. This was an average match for both men's standards but Kane intervened, and he Chokeslammed Rock deliberately to get Undertaker intentionally disqualified. The Deadman was seething, and the brothers battled into the crowd.
