Jimmy Uso has been arrested for a DUI for the second time, and reports suggest higher-ups in WWE are less than happy about it.

News broke earlier today that Jimmy Uso was arrested for a DUI on Monday night. The multi-time Tag Team Champion was stopped after speeding through a red light, at which point police discovered his blood-alcohol level was twice the legal limit. Uso was subsequently arrested and charged with a DUI, as well as speeding and for running a red light.

Jimmy Uso's Second DUI

This is the second time Uso has received a DUI in as many years. In July 2019 the twin was stopped under similar circumstances but found not guilty when he stood trial months later. That's despite footage of the incident appearing to indict him further. Despite being found not guilty, reports suggest WWE officials are not happy about this second incident.

"A few 'high-level people in power' are extremely disappointed and legitimately pissed off over the arrest," WrestleVotes tweeted shortly after the news broke. The owner of the account has spoken to two sources within WWE, both of which appear to have shared similar takes on how exactly people feel about Uso's arrest internally. "This many times isn’t a mistake or bad luck. It’s personal judgment," they add.

Third Time's Not The Charm

As well as the previous DUI, Uso was also arrested earlier in 2019 for an alleged clash with police. Even though nothing came of those other two instances, it seems as if this latest arrest coupled with the other two close calls in 2019 have ruffled quite a few feathers backstage. It may result in some difficult meetings and tricky decisions being made in the coming days.

Uso is currently very involved in SmackDown's biggest angle alongside his brother and his cousin Roman Reigns. Prior to that, he was on the sidelines recovering from injuries for a very long time. How WWE decides to handle this may become clear in the coming days, or it could be dealt with internally. Or, as it has been known to do in the past, WWE could decide to tie this into Uso's on-screen work somehow. It wouldn't be difficult, but that doesn't mean it should happen.
